It all began at "Table 11" — the name of our Wi-Fi to this day — at Terroni Adelaide in Toronto, where Nicolas happened to be seated at a booth in Jake's section.
Nic insists Jake mumbled his way through the specials in a questionable Italian accent, while Jake will tell you that time slowed down the moment Nic walked in.
Later, when Nic abruptly shot up from his table — running late to attend a school reunion that evening — Jake tapped Nic on the shoulder, handing over a hastily scribbled note: "You dropped this." Outside, Nic unfolded the slip of receipt paper to find Jake's name and number — and the rest, as they say, is history.
If you're reading this, it's because after seven years together — between coasts, countries, and continents — *you* have profoundly affected one or both of our lives in such a way that we feel we might not have found each other without your influence. Which is why you're receiving this invitation...
So, whether you're able to join us or not, we want to thank *you*... by celebrating *us!* Together.

12:30 PM: Doors open at The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul.
1:00 PM: Marriage ceremony, with Reverend Glenn Chestnutt & special musical guests.
1:45 PM: Ceremony concludes, followed by photos on the church steps.
2:30 – 6:00 PM: Guests freshen up, enjoy rest and/or recreation, then make their own way to the Bateau-Mouche in Montréal's Old Port.
6:15 PM: Boarding begins... FYI: "The captain waits for no one."
6:30 PM: Set sail on the St. Lawrence & Raise a glass: the open bar is now serving!
6:45 PM: Champagne toast at sea; Opening remarks from Masters of Ceremony: Haley Curneen & Tate Drummond.
7:30 PM: Please, take your designated seats... (see: seating chart onboard)
7:45 PM: Four-course dinner service commences.
9:30 PM: Vessel docks.
9:45 PM: Remarks from the grooms.
10:15 PM: Dancing and continued celebration under the stars!
11:30 PM: Open bar concludes.
11:45 PM: Disembark the boat.

Honestly, you could show up in a paper bag and we'd still be thrilled to see you — but here's everything you need to know:
Late summer in Montréal can be temperature-temperamental, so we’d advise layering. We’ll head from a midday church service (without air-conditioning) to the breezy evening waters of the St. Lawrence River, so plan accordingly. Ladies in heels should note: the boat dock has a metal grid ramp. Nothing to fear — just a heads up!
The vision is: a late summer wedding in elevated coastal classics, inspired by elegance on the water. Dust off that tux, treat yourself to something vintage, wear that look your mom thinks is “over the top.” We’re thrilled to have maestro photographer Francis Fraioli with us to capture the day, so feel free to make the most of his exceptional eye.
